MUNCIE, Ind. — After each position Delta won at the Sectional Championship against Burris Saturday, every player would go over to fist-bump the former players in the stands.
First it was senior Daniel Vencel, who won No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0. Then it was senior Jaigan Glaze and sophomore Walker Boyle, who won at No. 2 doubles 6-0, 6-0. The No. 1 doubles pair of seniors Mason Knight and Cade Brown walked off happily after securing Delta's 27th consecutive boys sectional title with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
