MUNCIE, Ind. — The first round of the Delaware County boys basketball tournament is in the books as both Cowan and Yorktown each picked up their first county tournament win in years.

Cowan 59, Wes-Del 46
With four minutes left in the game, Wes-Del cut what was once a 14-point deficit down to five, but a 12-0 Cowan run late helped the Blackhawks to the eventual 59-46 victory.
There were times where Wes-Del looked like it had figured out how to counter the size disadvantage it had against Cowan.
