One afternoon last fall, the Daleville baseball team was lounging around the cafeteria when athletic director and former baseball coach Daniel Hanson walked in.
Junior TJ Price was one of those players. He watched Hanson arrive with a man he had never met before. He quickly learned it was the new coach, Terry Turner.
Immediately, Price was happy. He had friends who played at Anderson High School, where Turner had coached before Daleville. They all said he was fun to play for.
Price has grown to love Turner, saying he jokes around more than most of the players do.
