Cowan looks to build off momentum after scoring season-high point total against Wes-Del

MUNCIE, Ind. — If Cowan can keep playing like it did Wednesday night against Wes-Del, the Blackhawks will be putting themselves in a good position to repeat as sectional champions.

The Blackhawks (7-7) dropped a season-high point total in their 80-64 win over the Warriors. For the Blackhawks, who've averaged 54.4 points per game this season, 80 is not a number they're used to seeing. The last time Cowan scored 80 or more points in a game? Dec. 18, 2015 when it beat Tri 80-62.

"I thought (that was) maybe the best job we've shared the ball all year, especially in the first half," Cowan coach Aaron Groves said.
