The Central boys basketball team will have a little waiting to do.
Central received a first-round bye in the Class 4A Huntington North Sectional. It will face the winner of the first game of the sectional, between Jay County (16-5) and Fort Wayne South Side (14-6).
Instead of being on the court, Central coach Jeff Holloway said he and his Bearcat players will be in the stands, watching and observing a team they already beat earlier this year (Jay County) and one that's foreign to them.
And he wouldn't mind facing the Patriots again.
"There's familiarity, you've seen them and you know what they do," Holloway said.
