TUCSON, Arizona - The Ball State baseball team completed a four-game split at nationally-ranked Arizona on Monday. After beating the home team two straight days over the weekend, the Cardinals dropped the finale 11-5.
"This was a really good start for our boys. I loved the way we competed in all four games," head coach said. "To win twice over a ranked opponent like Arizona and give opportunities to a lot of different players were both positives. I saw a lot of good things, but at the same time a lot of things we can improve on.
