PROVO, Utah – In its third-consecutive match against a top-15 opponent, the Ball State University men's volleyball team played No. 5 Brigham Young tough but ultimately dropped the match 3-0 on Saturday night at Smith Fieldhouse.
The No. 14 Cardinals fell to 2-3 on the year with the loss while the Cougars improved to 2-0.
Ball State hit .107 on the night with 27 kills compared to BYU's .375 mark with 35 kills. The Cardinals defended the net well with six total blocks and racked up 12 digs. From the service line, BSU put down three aces.
