MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State student-athletes turned in another record-breaking effort in the classroom during the 2020 fall semester, finishing with a 3.38 term grade point average (GPA).
Almost 60 percent of Ball State's student-athletes (260) earned a spot on the Dean's List with a semester GPA at or above 3.5. In addition, 72 Cardinals finished the fall with a 4.0 term GPA, while 353 earned at least a 3.0.
"I am extremely proud of the academic accomplishments of our student-athletes," Ball State Director of Athletics Beth Goetz said. "Achieving such a high level of success both in the classroom and on the field of play while navigating the challenges of the pandemic, speaks volumes about their character and perseverance.
