Cardinals Beat DePaul to Grab Share of Second at EY Match Play

DADE CITY, Fla. -- The Ball State men's golf team defeated DePaul, 3.5 to 2.5, in Tuesday's final round of the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play. The Cardinals had previously split two matches on the opening day of the event.

With two total points for wins in two of its three matches, the Cardinals tied with Drake for second place of the six teams competing at Lake Jovita. UConn defeated Evansville in its final match to close out an unbeaten, untied week and finish as champion with three points.

Ball State's Tyler Green won his match against DePaul by a 4&3 score Tuesday to finish 3-0 individually for the week.
