While Ball State’s matchup against Ohio didn’t take place when it was originally scheduled to, the Cardinals were able to face the Bobcats on Saturday in another Mid-American Conference matchup.
BSU entered the contest with a chance to exact a level of revenge against Ohio, as the Bobcats won a game earlier this season between the two programs in Muncie. Ball State coach James Whitford and company had an opportunity to both retain a winning record in conference play, and again have a winning record overall. And by game’s end, none of those potentialities came to be as the Cardinals suffered an 85-77 defeat against Ohio.
