TOLEDO, Ohio — Make that three losses in a row for Ball State (7-10, 2-4 MAC).
An 83-70 defeat against Toledo (14-4, 6-1 MAC) marks the Cardinals' third straight Mid-American Conference loss. At halftime, Ball State looked like it was going to put itself in a position to hand Toledo its first home loss of the season.
That didn't happen.
Instead, Ball State suffered its most lopsided conference loss of the year and is currently riding a season-worst losing streak. The Rockets dominated in the second half as the Cardinals saw themselves slide further down the league standings.
