MUNCIE, Ind. — Burris didn't have to look far for its next volleyball coach.
Jim Craig, an assistant for the Owls last season, was selected as Burris' head volleyball coach on Friday, according to press release from Ball State. He will take over for legendary coach Steve Shondell, who retired in February to focus on his health.
“I believe many of the girls share my sense of direction and commitment,” Craig said in a press release. “I know their time with Steve last season was invaluable to their growth as players, as was my experience in coaching.
