Bumbalough, Hazen Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

Luke Bumbalough and Brachen Hazen have been named academic all-conference this season after excelling on the court and in the classroom.

Bumbalough, in his second season at BSU, started 16 times and played every game while averaging 7.3 points and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 36% from 3-point range. Hazen, a fifth-year player from Columbia City, Indiana, averaged 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds while starting 20 of 21 games in what was his best college season.

To qualify for Academic All-MAC status, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
