MUNCIE, Ind. — In terms of depth, Ball State football began its 2021 fall camp with an abundance of riches.
Currently, there are 118 players listed on the Cardinals' roster. That number comes as most of Ball State's starters from its Mid-American Conference Championship and Arizona Bowl winning team from a year ago decided to return to "run it back" in 2021 along with the addition of a new 25 freshmen and a handful of graduate transfers.
In short, there are a lot of players fighting for a limited number of spots.
