MUNCIE, Ind. — It's not every day that Muncie Central gets a shout from a future NBA Hall of Famer. But that's what happened Tuesday night.
Former Bearcat and Ball State star Bonzi Wells appeared on Kevin Garnett's Area 21 show in Atlanta to talk the transition from college to the NBA, playing on the Portland Trailblazers with Steve Kerr and a variety of other topics. He even got to rebound for Shaq.
Garnett was welcoming him and Dikembe Mutumbo as guests to the show and mentioned Wells' Muncie roots.
