LAPEL, Ind. — Luke Brown was sitting at half court with his senior teammates Dane Baker and Landon Grimes to his left and right, respectively. The three were posing for a picture, one of the many they took Saturday night, with pieces of the basketball net dangling from their ears and a regional trophy in Brown's hands.
When Brown was a freshman, he said one of his goals was to hang a regional championship banner inside Blackford's gym.
It's time to order that banner.
Since 1970, Blackford has competed in the Indiana High School Athletic Association state basketball tournament.
