It is, once again, that time of year. In lieu of a Big Ten-administered preseason poll (the conference hasn't compiled one in a very long time), we media did one ourselves.
As ever, thanks to Adam Jardy (The Columbus Dispatch) and Brendan Quinn (The Athletic) for teaming up to organize and execute what should be a familiar exercise to you by now: Two writers from each of the 14 conference basketball beats vote on a 1-14 league finish, plus a preseason player of the year, a preseason freshman of the year and a preseason All-Big Ten first team.
