Ball State women's basketball picked 2nd in MAC preseason poll; Ally Becki makes All-MAC team

CLEVELAND — After finishing last season as the Mid-American Conference runner-up, Ball State women's basketball was picked to finish second in the league in the preseason coaches' poll.

The Cardinals, led by 10th-year head coach Brady Sallee, received one first-place vote in the poll as Toledo was picked to win the conference by 11 of the 12 coaches. The Rockets also received nine tournament championship votes while Ball State earned the other three.

In addition, Ball State's Ally Becki was selected as a preseason All-MAC first team selection along with Northern Illinois' A'Jah Davis, Toledo's Quinesha Lockett and Sophia Wiard along with Miami's Peyton Scott.
