Ball State Student-Athletes Raise GPA Yet Again

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State's 3.26 cumulative GPA for student-athletes following the 2018 fall semester was its highest in at least 10 years. Until now.

The Cardinals one-upped that mark this spring, wrapping up the term with a cumulative student-athlete GPA of 3.27. It is the seventh time in the past eight semesters the number has risen (the other time it stayed the same).

Nearly 74 percent of Ball State student-athletes finished the spring semester with a cumulative GPA better than 3.0, while more than 40 percent posted a mark of 3.5 or better for the term.
