Ball State Outsmarts Yale 10-4

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Ball State took an early lead and controlled the entire game in a 10-4 win over Yale on Friday. It was the first of four games at the Swig & Swine Classic at Shipyard Park. BSU will play Sacred Heart Friday night.

Chase Sebby hit a 3-run home run in the top of the 1st and Ball State took over from there. That's all John Baker would need, as the Cardinals' ace struck out seven over 7.0 innings while allowing two runs and scattering seven hits.

"We played our most complete game of the season today," head coach John Baker said.
