Ball State has signed gymnastics standout Alivia Ostendorf to a National Letter of Intent. Ostendorf, a native of Ramsey, Minnesota, will join the Cardinals as a freshman for the 2019-20 season.
"We are very excited to bring Alivia into our Cardinal Family. This young lady has been consistently doing high level gymnastics for over four years," head coach Joanna Saleem said. "I am looking forward to her positive leadership and calm disposition. Her wealth of training and successful competitive experience will be great for our Ball State program."
She competed for her club, Twin City Twisters, for 14 years and is no stranger to high-level competition.
