Ball State football squeaks by Tennessee Tech

MUNCIE, Ind. — A win is a win, right? Ball State did enough for that. But the way the Cardinals won over FCS opponent Tennessee Tech on Saturday left more questions than answers as the team heads into its most challenging stretch of the season.

While the Cardinals (2-1) scored on their opening possession and were in control throughout on their way to a 28-13 victory, the game was never really secure until David Moore's sack with less than two minutes to play. With games at defending Conference USA champion Western Kentucky, defending MAC champion Western Michigan and Akron up next, Ball State will have to play better.
