Prospects around the country started to become signees Wednesday as football players finalized their commitments to various collegiate programs.
The early signing period, which lasts until Friday, has arrived for the 2021 recruiting class. And that means Ball State is at last learning who will make up the majority of, if not all of, its recruiting class as the Cardinals welcome in their next collection of potential stars.
BSU entered the day with 21 commitments, according to 247Sports, and a class ranked 94th in the nation and seventh in the Mid-American Conference. Unlike last year, as by that early signing period head coach Mike Neu's squad's season was already over, Ball State's focus isn't entirely on recruiting because it's also preparing for the MAC title game.
