Ball State falls at Buffalo, 76-64

Ball State men’s basketball fell 76-64 to Mid-American Conference rival on Jan. 26.

The Cardinals had troubles defending the paint, as they surrendered 40 points to the Bulls on the night.

Along with the defensive struggles, Ball State could not find a rhythm on the offensive end. Buffalo scored 24 points off 19 Ball State turnovers. Senior guard Jeremiah Davis was the leading scorer for Ball State with 13 points. While senior forward Bo Calhoun grabbed a double double with 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Going into halftime Ball State trailed by only 2 points, but Buffalo went on an 8-4 run to stretch the lead to 33-39, the Cardinals would give up 45 second half points.
