MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State Athletics is in the same position as college athletic departments across the country right now as it attempts to project just how much of an economic effect COVID-19 will have.

It’s still unclear whether fans will be able to be in the stands at Scheumann Stadium, Briner Sports Complex or elsewhere to watch Cardinals athletes compete. It’s still unclear what it’ll all look like and what effect the ensuing financial reality will have for Beth Goetz’s program.
