DEKALB, Ill. - Just two weeks after setting a school record for team score, the Ball State gymnastics team went on the road and beat that mark. BSU's 195.800 team score Sunday at Northern Ilinois set a new school record.
A much-improved effort on bars helped the Cardinals get the day started. The Cards totaled 48.925 on the event, a season high for the team. Arden Hudson and Grace Evans each charted 9.825 and then a 9.900 vault routine from Marissa Nychyk kept the Cardinals going.
