MUNCIE, Ind. — During track meets, Shane Conley isn't one to keep a running tally of the team scores.
But when the public address announcer read off the scores at the Muncie Central sectional with two events to go, the Delta head coach started pacing around the infield and doing some calculations in his head.
"I kind of walked around and thought, 'OK, if we can score two in the two-mile and do well in the four-by-four, then we should be OK,'" Conley said. "... At about that point I thought, 'OK, this is getting down to the wire,' and I knew we had a good shot.
