After playing (and winning) its 1st match, Yorktown volleyball 'not taking a game for granted'

SELMA, Ind. — The ball came over the net toward an uncontested Jaylynn Dunsmore.

Wapahani bailed out defensively to get the ball over and Dunsmore sent it right back with a powerful kill, one of several that sparked Yorktown's dominant third set and sweep (25-19, 25-12, 25-9) over the previously undefeated Raiders.

As soon as the play was made, the senior middle hitter looked over to the Tigers' bench and smiled. In the second set, seniors Ellee Stinson and Jenny Morey got tangled up after they dove in unison trying to make a play defensively. The two laughed as they scrambled to get back into position.
