PORTLAND — Still soaking wet after going for a celebratory swim with her team, Delta coach Laura Seibold-Caudill emerged from the pool.
Still smiling — like she had been doing the entire day as Delta racked up 427 points and seven events wins Saturday — Seibold-Caudill tried to put the moment in words. After all, the Delta boys swimming and diving team had just won their sixth straight sectional title at Jay County.
"I haven't lost yet–" she said with a chuckle before stopping herself. "I shouldn't say I won it. They won it.
