MUNCIE, Ind. — Lexi Franks believes there are people who don’t expect Muncie Central volleyball to be any good this season.
The Bearcats senior understands recent years haven’t gone the way others have in the past. Central is six years removed from its last sectional title, 10 years removed from its last regional title and 11 years removed from it last state title. And coming off a 2019 season in which Franks’ team went 10-15 and was swept in its sectional opener by Yorktown, Franks thinks there are those who don’t think the Bearcats will be able to compete in 2020.
