MUNCIE, Ind. — Scheumann Stadium will be the venue for the Mid-American Conference football opener between Ball State (1-2) and Toledo (1-2).
While the rest of the conference finishes up non-conference play this weekend, the Cardinals and the Rockets — the two preseason favorites in the West Division and overall — will look to get a leg up in the conference standings.
Both teams are coming off back-to-back losses and both will be looking, and needing to turn things around Saturday. Last week, Ball State fell in a 45-12 blowout at Wyoming while Toledo suffered a 22-6 home loss against Colorado State.
