Muncie Central student Lake Barnhouse is well known at Central.
He's a friend of many. He's always eager to help. And if you saw him at prom, you know he's quite the dancer, too.
Barnhouse, who competes for Central's Unifield track and field and bowling teams, was one of three athletes across the state of Indiana named as finalists for the Boys Special Olympics athlete award at the IndyStar Sports Awards. South Ripley's Alex Kieffer and East Noble's Collin Double, the latter of which won, were the other two finalists.
