MUNCIE, Ind. — Sacha Gan, formerly Sacha Caldemeyer, became a member of the Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame a little more than a decade — 12 years — after she graduated from high school at Burris in 1993.
She had helped Burris volleyball win state titles in 1989, 1990 and 1992, during a career there that saw her recognized as the nation’s top high school volleyball player in 1992 by Volleyball Monthly. She had gone on to continue her playing career at the University of the Pacific, where she earned second team All-America recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 1996.
