MUNCIE — When Delta athletics told former boys basketball coach Paul Keller that they'd like to honor him at halftime of the Eagles' home finale against Greenfield-Central, his response was laughable.
"Why would you do that?" he asked. "No one knows who I am."
Of course, that's not true. But Keller confirmed his response with a smile after he was celebrated by family, friends and fans during Delta's final home game of the season.
Only twice has the Delta boys basketball team won back-to-back sectional championships. The first came when Keller led the Eagles to titles in 2008 and 2009.
