MUNCIE, Ind. — Mark Detweiler’s tenure as Delta’s boys’ basketball coach is only in its third year, but his time in the profession as a head coach spans a much longer period of time.
He started as the head coach at Randolph Southern for three seasons before the 16-year run he had with Union County that preceded his current post at Delta. He’s amassed close to 300 wins, currently holding a 286-202 record, and has 300 wins as a possible accomplishment he could attain this season if the Eagles do well enough. But stats such as wins and losses are only part of his journey.
