MUNCIE, Ind. — Emily Bainter, formerly Emily Sallee, is no stranger to success in volleyball.
In high school at Burris, playing for Steve Shondell from 1993-1996, she won state titles in 1993 and 1994. In college at Ball State, playing for Randy Litchfield from 1997-2000, she earned three Mid-American Conference regular season titles, one MAC tournament title and two NCAA tournament appearances. In coaching, after leading Mississinewa High School from 2001-02, she served as an assistant for Shondell at Burris from 2003-09 and helped Burris to seven Class 2A state titles.
