PARKER CITY, Ind. — Indiana boys high school basketball is almost back.
Ten Mid-Eastern Conference teams Saturday night competed in the MEC Jamboree at Monroe Central High School, marking their final scrimmages before the season officially begins next week.
Eight of the squads were East Central Indiana teams, and all the scrimmages were one-half long. Here's how each local team faired:
- Game 1: Shenandoah 41, Union (Modoc) 15
- Game 2: Blue River 40, Cowan 31
- Game 3: Daleville 39, Wes-Del 36
- Game 5: Wapahani 29, Monroe Central 21
This being many teams' first action against an opposing school, there were understandable mistakes and sloppiness all evening.
