MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State men’s golf coach Mike Fleck isn’t going to let himself become too excited until his team’s on its way to airport and boarding its plane to Florida, but less than a week before the Cardinals’ first competition of the season he couldn’t deny his excitement level is building.
It’s been almost a year since BSU last competed, a March 2020 competition in Arizona being the last time the Cardinals did so. And Fleck believes his team is mentally and physically prepared to get going again Monday and Tuesday at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play event.
