MUNCIE, Ind. — Three Delaware County baseball teams fought off elimination to reach the semifinals of the sectional tournaments taking place this week through Monday.
And one day after Delta coach Tim Cleland took over the all-time wins record in tennis, his Eagles won their 17th regional title.

Yorktown 6, Blackford 0
Robby Hook held the Bruins to just three hits in the complete-game shutout. He struck out seven and walked two to lead the Tigers (14-14) into the Blackford Sectional semifinals against Hamilton Heights (9-13) on Friday.
