MUNCIE, Ind. — Indiana high school girls basketball begins its regular season on Nov. 1 as teams have been practicing for the past two weeks.
There is plenty to look forward to from East Central Indiana teams this year, with some squads returning most of their top players and others sporting new-look starting fives. Shenandoah and Blue River were the local sectional champions in 2021, but both graduated key players.
Although there are many matchups worth watching, here are 10 regular season games to watch this year:
Nov. 4, Muncie Central at Delta
While Muncie Central and Delta finished just 6-12 and 5-16, respectively, last season, the two teams played a thrilling opening game that the Bearcats won 61-60 and will again start the year against each other.
