Vettel leads Ferrari one-two in final practice for Chinese Grand Prix

SHANGHAI, China -- Ferrari topped the timesheets in final practice for the Chinese Grand Prix, with Sebastian Vettel 0.053s ahead of teammate Kimi Raikkonen and 0.3s ahead of the fastest Mercedes.

After Friday running was limited to just a handful of laps due to weather conditions, all the teams compressed three practice sessions worth of running into a single hour on Saturday morning. With long runs occupying the first half of the session, the quick times started to emerge towards the end of the hour, with Vettel setting the benchmark on his first low-fuel run on super-softs.

Teammate Raikkonen managed to get close, but Vettel just held enough of an edge in the first two sectors to keep him at bay by just over half a tenth.
