Supercars driver Shane van Gisbergen will be counting on three-time Bathurst winner Garth Tander to help break his Mount Panorama duck this year.
Tander, who recently confirmed his retirement as a full-time Supercars driver, has agreed to partner the Red Bull Holden team racer for the Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600 and Sandown 500 endurance events.
New Zealander van Gisbergen, who finished series runner-up behind Scott McLaughlin last season, is yet to conquer Bathurst after being pipped by a tenth of a second in 2016.
