Some of Supercars' biggest names have slammed DJR Team Penske, with Craig Lowndes saying the Ford outfit's safety car controversy will forever overshadow the 2019 Bathurst 1000 result.
While the focus was supposed to be on this weekend's next enduro the Gold Coast 600, rival drivers were still shaking their heads over the Ford team's Great Race tactics which earned heavy penalties on Sunday.
Series leader Scott McLaughlin was allowed to keep his maiden Bathurst title after a hearing was held last weekend over his teammate Fabian Coulthard dramatically slowing down during a late safety car period.
