Daniel Ricciardo has revealed he held contract talks with Ferrari but that the conversations were never serious enough to discuss financial numbers or contract length.
Seven-time race winner Ricciardo moved from Red Bull to Renault in 2019 and from Renault to McLaren at the start of 2021.
