Ford star Scott McLaughlin has secured his 10th pole position in this year's Supercars championship, qualifying fastest for Saturday's opening race at the Ipswich SuperSprint event.
McLaughlin's one minute and 08.8167 seconds lap was enough to give the championship leader pole position ahead of Holden veteran Craig Lowndes.
Saturday's 120km 39-lap race is scheduled to start at 4.15pm.
