TORONTO -- Canadian IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe has been named the grand marshal for Sunday's race through the streets of Toronto.

Hinchcliffe, from Oakville, Ontario, has been sidelined since a life-threatening injury suffered May 18. He crashed while practicing for the Indianapolis 500, and a broken piece of his suspension pierced his upper left thigh and Hinchcliffe lost a considerable amount of blood.
