INDIANAPOLIS -- Team owner Chip Ganassi is leaving the door open for rising NASCAR star Kyle Larson to someday compete in the Indianapolis 500.

The 22-year-old Larson was signed by Ganassi as a developmental driver in 2012, shot through the Truck Series and Xfinity Series, and began racing full-time in the Sprint Cup Series last year.
