Felipe Nasr, Jolyon Palmer tweet causes social media stir

Felipe Nasr may well have the right to feel aggrieved for not being on the Formula One grid this season, but we get the feeling this tweet to Renault was a mistake rather than a genuine dig at former rival Jolyon Palmer.

The embarrassing gaffe sent from the Brazilian's official Twitter account was in direct reply to Renault, questioning Palmer's place at the French manufacturer with the Briton yet to register a point in the opening three races of 2017 in Renault's much-improved yellow-and-black clad RS17.

The pair were rivals as they battled for supremacy in GP2 in 2015 and their frosty relationship continued all the way into F1, not helped by a collision at the 2016 Italian Grand Prix.
