F1 creates group tasked with breaking its own rules

Formula One has created a group tasked with breaking its next set of rules in an attempt to stop one team finding a significant advantage through loopholes in 2021.

F1 is currently working on the regulations for 2021 and beyond, which it hopes will deliver and improvement in racing. The publication of those rules has been delayed until the end of October.

Ross Brawn, F1's racing chief, is determined to create a closer grid and better racing . Early data from 2021 concepts suggests it will be easier to follow other cars -- a key ingredient for overtaking.
