There's a sense of missed opportunity but after the 12 months James Courtney has endured the Supercars star will take his fourth-place at Winton on Saturday.
The woes of Walkinshaw Andretti United on the track have been combined with personal turmoil for Courtney following the breakdown of his marriage in the middle of last year.
It's the best finish for the 2010 Supercars champion in 2019.
His day could have been even better considering he was leading the race when Holden's David Reynolds bumped him wide on lap three but after all he's been through, Courtney wasn't dwelling on the negatives.
